One-of-a-kind Bracelet!

Today I'm sharing my experience at a store on Granville Island where you can make your own accessories!

Beadworks

I went to "Beadworks", a store on Granville Island where you can make accessories and charms! As you can see from the pic above, the store is filled with beads, pearls, power stones, and design parts with alphabets! Here, you can choose from many options including charms, necklaces, bracelets, and more. This time I made a bracelet! After getting a special board to measure the length (pictured above), choose the parts I like, one by one, and design them! With so many colors and types of pieces to choose from, it's hard to decide what kind of bracelet to make, isn't it?

After deciding on a design, I get a wire and thread the pieces myself. Finally, the staff will attach the metal parts and......... Ta-da! Here is a picture of the bracelet I made! (about $20) Depending on what you want to make, it takes about an hour on average, but it took my friend and me about 3 hours! But it was so much fun and time flew quickly because we were able to make our own unique and one-of-a-kind accessories! It would be fun to make matching ones with my friends! Day trip to Victoria

Hi, there!  Join me on my adventures in this beautiful city, Vancouver! Today I'm sharing about my day trip to Victoria. I boarded the ferry at 8am to see a friend living in Victoria. It takes about 4 hours to get to downtown Victoria from Vancouver, so getting up early is a must! Met up with my friend in downtown Victoria for the first time in 4 months! We had Moroccan Chicken Benny at Blue Fox Cafe, a famous brunch restaurant! I heard their omelettes are delicious too, so you should try them too;) Blue Fox Cafe This is actually my third time visiting Victoria, but unlike Vancouver, time seems to flow more slowly. Perhaps it's because the city is filled with beautiful flowers, which makes me feel relaxed. On the way back, I took the last ferry at 9pm to Vancouver. Drive to White Rock

Hi, there!  Join me on my adventures in this beautiful city, Vancouver! Today I'm sharing about my drive to White Rock. One rainy day, my friend drove me to White Rock. Raincouver season is here so it is essential mentally to go somewhere with friends so that the weather doesn't affect my feelings! White Rock is about an hour's drive from Metrotown. White Rock seemed smaller than I expected, but learning about the city's history on the bridge to the U.S. border (photo above) was interesting. See the following link for more details! History of White Rock We actually were supposed to see the sunset, but it was still beautiful to see the view and the city under cloudy skies. I heard that the stars are beautiful in this city, so I hope to come back for it. At night we went back to downtown Vancouver and had a Korean BBQ at "Chosun Korean BBQ".
